Brad Almond was VertexOne’s Chief Financial Officer from 2013 to 2019 and upon the acquisition of the company by DFW Capital Partners, Brad became a member of the board of directors.
Brad is a tenured technology/software executive in public and private corporations with extensive experience in key operational functions in global, high-growth environments. He is currently Chief Financial Officer of Resman, an innovative provider of industry-leading property management solutions.
Prior to VertexOne, Brad served as the Chief Financial Officer of Cambium Learning Group, a publicly-traded leader in providing curriculum products, services and subscription-based technology for elementary through high schools. Before joining Cambium, Brad was Chief Financial Officer at Zix Corporation, a SaaS-based email encryption provider located in Dallas.
From 1998 to 2003, Brad worked at Entrust Inc., where he held a variety of management positions, including President of Entrust Japan and General Manager of Entrust Asia out of the Tokyo, Japan office. Brad started his technology finance career at Nortel serving in various positions from 1993 to 1998 including Director of Strategic Planning for Nortel Europe based in Paris, France.
Brad is a Certified Public Accountant, is a graduate of Texas A&M (Bachelor of Business Administration), the University of Texas at Austin (Master of Business Administration), the University of Texas at Dallas (Master of Arts) and is currently a doctoral candidate in liberal studies at Southern Methodist University.
