Todd Crandall is a seasoned IT Services Industry Executive with experience across many industries and for organizations of all sizes. He has built organizations from scratch, been part of several mergers/acquisitions, and led a $1B plus Services Business for one of the world’s largest Enterprise Software companies.
Todd has particular interest, expertise and relationships in the utility industry—including investor-owned and municipal utilities of all sizes and types (electric, gas, water, waste water). He also has significant cloud (SaaS) and outsourcing experience where he was able to dramatically increase annuity-based services over one-time project services. Although several years ago, his experience also includes the building of a pre-configured, subscription-based solution for the utility and public sector markets.
He most recently led SAP’s Services (Digital Business Services) business within North America—reporting directly to SAP’s Executive Board, across all industries, and with sole P&L responsibility. While at SAP, Todd was instrumental in managing the largest transformation of any Services business in the world (according to McKinsey). This transformation included a restructuring of the Services portfolio offered to SAP customers and a complete re-skilling of SAP’s 22,000 Service Delivery Professionals, Delivery Executives and Customer Success Executives from traditional “on-premise” implementations to “cloud-oriented” installations.
Also, while at SAP, Todd was responsible for successfully integrating several under-performing business units and new acquisitions (with new customer solutions/products) with divergent cultures and disparate implementation approaches. Under his leadership and through several focused initiatives, the North America region, achieved historic records in growth, profitability and customer satisfaction and was named the 2019 Region of the Year.
Prior to SAP, Todd led HCL Technologies Asset Intensive Industries (Utilities, Aerospace & Defense, Travel, Transportation & Logistics, and Healthcare) global business unit which included all Services and Outsourcing within North America and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). During this time, this business unit experienced annual growth and established a very strong, industry-specific dominance which dramatically increased overall customer retention/loyalty.
Prior to HCL, Todd worked in a variety of Executive roles at Axon Solutions, TUI Consulting, ea consulting, iShopper Internet, and Salesnet Marketing Group.
Todd earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and currently serves on the Professional Services Advisory Board for the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA).
